What is a lab grown diamond? - Lab grown diamonds (also known as lab created diamonds, man-made diamonds, engineered diamonds, and cultured diamonds) are grown in highly controlled laboratory environments using advanced technological processes that replicate the conditions under which diamonds naturally form when they form beneath the Earth's crust in the Earth's mantle. These lab-created diamonds are composed of genuine carbon atoms arranged in the typical diamond crystal structure. They have the same optical and chemical properties as natural diamonds because they are made of the same substance. Our lab-created diamonds come in a variety of colorless shades.
